Motol Station and Motol Hospital
Note that there is no metro service at Motol Station yet. The station is planned to open in 2013 or 2014. The best connections from Motol to Prague city centre are trams (from Motol or Vypich).
Motol Station is located at Kukulova Street by the northern entrance to Motol Hospital (Fakultni nemocnice v Motole), one of the largest hospitals in Prague. Other major streets near Motol Station are Belohorska Street and Plzenska Street. Relatively far away from the centre, this is a nice part of Prague, with several large parks (Ladronka, Hvezda, and Kosire-Motol Nature Park).

There are very few hotels near Motol Station. This part of Prague is very quiet and mostly residential, with a large hospital complex in the neighbourhood. Several hotels are situated in the bigger streets near Motol Hospital, namely Plzenska Street (south) and Belohorska Street (north).

You can find far more hotels closer to Prague city centre. A popular hotel location with convenient tram access from Motol is Andel Station. The tram ride between Motol and Andel takes 13-14 minutes.
Another very popular hotel district in Prague, close to Andel and also well accessible from Motol Station is Lesser Quarter (Mala Strana). After the metro extension to Motol opens in 2013/2014, there will be a fast (10 minutes) direct connection from Motol Station to Malostranska, the metro station for Prague Lesser Quarter.
