Andel Metro Station
Andel is a busy metro station on the left bank of the Vltava River (same as Lesser Quarter or Prague Castle). Though outside the historical centre of Prague, the area around Andel Station is quite lively, popular with both locals and tourists, and has many restaurants, pubs, bars, and hotels. Overall, it can be an interesting alternative to the Old Town (if you have already visited Prague before and you want to try something different from Old Town, you can try Andel).
Na Knizeci Bus Station
There are two exits from Andel Metro Station. One exit is towards Novy Smichov shopping centre and the tram stops at Andel (the crossing of Lidicka, Nadrazni, Plzenska, and Stefanikova streets). The other exit takes you two blocks away to Na Knizeci Bus Station (Ostrovskeho Street, Za Zenskymi Domovy, and Stroupeznickeho Street). There is a fair selection of hotels in the streets closest to Andel metro station. You will find at least a few hotels at each price level, from 5 star hotels to budget hotels, b&b’s, and hostels. The majority of hotels near Andel Station are in the 3 star or 4 star category.
Most of the shop and bar infrastructure is located along the streets Nadrazni, Plzenska, and Lidicka. Several good hotels are located in Radlicka Street (behind CineStar multiplex from the metro station Andel exit).

It is recommended to book accommodation at least a few weeks in advance if you can, particularly when you are coming in the peak tourist periods like July, August, and on some public holidays.
